Playground Perma Play 2-Layer System for The Mall at Partridge Creek

We installed a brand-new play area at The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township which is a suburb of Michigan’s biggest city, Detroit. Using our superior poured in place product, Perma Play 2-Layer System, their 1,843 square feet play surface will be enjoyed for years to come. During their design phase, they chose a variety of 100 percent colors. This made for a fashionable design. This play area had a recommended critical fall height (CFH) of 4 feet. This CFH guide is set forth by ASTM International. It is a globally recognized leader in the development and delivery of international voluntary consensus standards. We have our Perma Play surface products laboratory tested, and they exceed the ASTM standards for safety and quality compliance. This job was installed at 2 inches of depth. We installed it after removing the old surface. We love building safe playgrounds for schools, day cares, parks, sports centers and malls.

Playground Perma Play 2-Layer System for High Point School

We provided and installed playground surfacing at 1,487 square feet and required that we demo the existing surface first. We offer many services such as roll coating, fencing and other landscaping needs, playground testing and a dumpster to keep the job site clean and most importantly safe. They selected our high-end Perma Play 2-Layer System in our most popular standard black/green color mix. This helps reduce cost while still providing aesthetically pleasing and a safe playground. This project required our very popular aromatic adhesive binder. This binder is an aromatic urethan that is used to bond together the surface, rubber bottom buffing layer and the top EPDM rubber granules. We use non-toxic, unused or virgin EPDM rubber.

The surface was installed at 3.5 inches in depth to meet an 8-foot critical fall height (CFH) requirement. This CFH is determined by measuring the play equipment platform to the ground. Our products meet or exceed requirements set forth in the Consumer Product Safety Commission, are ADA compliant and are also certified by the International Play Equipment Manufacturing Association (IPEMA). Everyone’s safety is important while we work. Until the product sets-up, we secured the site with an orange barrier to keep people off the surface area until curing process is complete. High Point School has a grand, fun and safe place to play.
