Playsafe Turf system by Shawgrass is a superior playground turf system that was specifically designed for high traffic play areas. This system was engineered with sports performance fibers while other turfs in the industry use landscape fibers. The sports performance fibers offer a tuft bind that has twice the dimensional stability and regularly withstands the rigors of the most demanding public parks & playgrounds. This system has no crumb rubber infill but rather a unique impact attenuating padding that fits neatly underneath the artificial grass. As if this system wasn’t superior enough, it also includes an optional alternative to regular silica sand infill called TurfChiller. TurfChiller is a unique sand infill that offers anti-microbial protection and can cool the playing surface up to 50 degrees during the hottest times of the year. To top all that off, the Shawgrass 3 in 1 warranty is the best in the playground industry when it comes to turf systems. 10 years against fading, 5 years against wear & tear just like our Perma-Play 2 Layer system, and a 1 year workmanship warranty.
