Sometimes surface-level damage is rooted much deeper, and sometimes that internal damage goes unnoticed. Soft spots, drainage problems, and hidden wear can set you up for a nasty surprise, and the truth is, you need an expert to catch it.
That’s why we recommend our annual maintenance program and scheduling routine inspections, especially after periods of harsh weather or heavy use. Our team knows where to look and what to check for underfoot, so we can fix the problem before it becomes a bigger liability.
Drainage is a critical part of any successful surfacing installation, but Pro-Techs is not a drainage consultant, and we do not design or install drainage systems. What we do is identify potential concerns—such as pooling areas, improper slopes, or low spots—before installation and make sure customers are aware of them. Addressing those issues is ultimately the customer’s responsibility, and it should be resolved prior to surfacing.
Without proper drainage, problems such as freeze–thaw damage, sediment buildup, or reduced impact attenuation can occur. Our role is to help you spot risks early so your investment performs as intended once drainage is properly managed.
Once we figure out what’s really going on, we act fast to prevent future damage. From slope adjustments to adding base layers with geotextile fabrics, we do it all to make sure your playground stays safe, dry, and durable long-term.
The Pro-Techs team knows what they’re doing, and we know a closed playground means disappointed kids. We wrap up most playground surfacing repairs in a day, but bigger jobs rarely take more than two.
We’ll give you a clear timeline after we inspect the site, so kids can get back to playing as quickly and safely as possible. While we prioritize getting things done quickly, we don’t sacrifice getting them done right.
