To keep you confident in your compliance, we can also provide ADA testing and provide clear documentation of the results.
Yes, proper drainage is absolutely necessary for any successful surfacing installation. While our rubber surfacing is porous, water must still have a way to move away from the area. Pro-Techs is not a drainage consultant, and we do not design or install drainage systems, but our supervisors will point out potential concerns—such as low spots or pooling areas—before installation.
Ultimately, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure drainage is addressed. Without it, issues like freeze–thaw damage, sediment buildup, or reduced impact attenuation can occur, putting both safety and your investment at risk.
Our premium rubber surfacing requires minimal maintenance, but regular inspections are key to long-term performance. Customer inspections are required under the warranty and help identify problems early—the better you care for it, the longer it lasts.
The frequency of maintenance depends on how heavily your playground is used. To stay ahead of damage, we also recommend our annual maintenance program. If you notice any wear, cracks, or lifted edges, contact us right away. Addressing issues early saves you time, money, and headaches.
